Design: Aesthetics, Usability & Emotion

I focus on creating a great user experience—a balance of visual appeal and ease of use. My skills include human-centered design research methods, information architecture, interface design, user-testing, XHTML/CSS, and basic programming and scripting (e.g. Java, PHP, and ActionScript).

I completed the Interaction Design master's program at Carnegie Mellon University in May 2011 and currently work with the user experience team at the Open Learning Initiative (OLI) at Carnegie Mellon. The OLI develops and hosts online academic courses that are based on and provide new feedback for learning science. I am very excited be a part of a project focused on improving learning outcomes as well as providing high-quality education for independant learners!
